yeah - I'd much prefer the non turbo - non manual - non 200bhp mivec version. Its def worth the extra to buy the Tip GS! :lol:

This is where the old cliché - "you can't blame a guy for trying" is a load of bo11ocks.
This is a good time to stick an FTO on carzone as any would look well priced beside this!

Guys guys - you're being far to hard on this guy...clearly he removed the turbo and the manual gear box so it would be much easier to ensure..
As we all know these are things all irish insurance companies take into account when providing clear, logically structured quotes for the full range of FTOs.

To be fair, it looks like a fairly decent well looked after motor.....not too bad for younger lads looking for cheaper insurance who'd be happy with a 1.8GR.
It's just the description and price seems to be a bit over zealous.

By the way my 95 GPX didn't have any airbags....was it usual for a 1995 GR to have 'Driver's Air Bag, Multiple Air Bags' as described in the ad?????

This FTO doesn't have airbags.

Also in my experience the insurance companies make little or no differential between the 1.8 and 2.0litre FTO models.
