Mirage gearbox

I've been slowly but surely get parts together for a manual conversion,i've been looking for a final drive...4.7 ratio much prefered but to no avail. I've heard it being touched on here but nothing deep before about the gpx engine taking the mivec colt/mirage gearbox,has anybody heard or have any hard evidence of this being true or is it just hear say. It would make my life a lot easier as the mirage cyborg has a 4.63 final drive and shorter gears which is exactly what i'm looking for...

yes you can put a mivec colt gearbox onto a 6a12 tranny

Contact tin tin on the forum, he dropped a 6A12 MIVEC into his Colt, not sure if the gearbox was retained or not. I believe this crowd did the work:
