Tom, im heading out in Limerick sat night i think. I dont know Limerick at all at all. Im staying somewhere by Thomand Park. Anywhere by you?

I’m not too far from Thomond Park, so to save confusion (and considering the fact that I don’t really know Limerick that well either) I can meet you there if you like?

Route planners says about 2 hours there, so meet you at 9:45?

Guys, despite my best efforts, I can't make the meet tomorrow, somethings come up that I need to take care of. I really wanted to make this meet considering I've been somewhat absent of late, it wasn't to be unfortunately.

everyone had a blast , pity Sebastian broke down tut tut letting the fto side down

first off some of us met in fox hunters pub ...



then we headed up onto the motor way and Sebastian fto started to over heat (just don't build them like they use to eh eh )









We waited a while

then some of the others caught up from wicklow




Then we hit the road again








We arrived in Athlone and grabbed a bite to eat





Then down to portunma

Just like to say this was a most enjoyable day. Great to meet some of the FTO guys I hadn't met previously, and the Celica crew who were really nice guys (and gal, who took the above photos and lots of totally non PC slagging).

Weather was pretty crap in Portumna, but hanging around under a tree in the pi$$ing rain, swapping yarns and slagging was actually great fun.

We should definitely do this again. I'd certainly be up for it.

Was a really good day. The drive wasnt the best cause of camper vans, cyclist groups and volvo's but all in all I think a great day was had by all.

And wait for it lads... THE CELICA CLUB EVENT ORGANISER BRINGS CRISPS AND LUCOZADE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ATTEND!!

Looks like it was a good meet, nice idea to bring the 2 clubs together, some fine examples from both sides!

Yeah, really enjoyed the day, and the lads (and lady) from the celica club were a sound bunch. They brought some very tidy and nicely modified cars.

Will put up a few pics later if I can.

Definately one that should be repeated.

only travel back to Dublin at the weekends, you might have seen Max, he has the other blue celica, but he's from Meath.
