Were any of ye at either??
Some craic at the rally, got soaked Saturday though.
And pro drift yesterday, bit boring until twin battles, and then myself and my bf nearly got killed by that beamer that mounted the wall! Had to shield our faces from flying bits of alloy too! Last one ever in Rosegreen too, sickener, stupid frikkin high court...
There was a sweet MKII escort there, the guy's a legend! Nice to see something different from twin cams and silvias!

I've been down to the rally a couple of times but to be honest I don't think it's worth it.
A lot of driving / walking / waiting, all for a couple of good minutes.
I'll just wait 'til it passes my house
, no effort required.

That's all part of it though!
Your house, have you a house in Kerry?

I was sitting out the back of the pub having a pint watching all the cars go home after coming down the healy pass. Seemed to be the usual, mark 1s, mark 11s, few porsches, minis.

No, I'm not German.
I meant rallies in general, the circuit of munster pass my house.

Ah Healy Pass = Mental.
Upon reading the meet thread, I realise now what you're talking about Bernard...

We've had a few FTO Ireland meets that involved the Healy Pass - wouldn't mind another - its a great road with lovely scenery.

Great road to drive, can see around the bends, and if you go up it, go into Kenmare for lunch, and back down through the tunnel road to Glengarriff, I would love to hear a load of engines go through the handmade tunnel! (Where the original Mondeo ad was filmed all those years ago). Would be savage on a dry hot day. Might be one for the future.

Sounds great, nice spot for a few photos too! Have a house in Kenmare so a good few could stay over and the craic would be had!

Myself and CJ spent ages up there that night just going back and forwards in the tunnel and never met another car. As its mostly tourist traffic that uses the road they're all well in bed by the time we took a spin up plus you can see cars coming for miles around on either side of the tunnel/mountain.
JayVR, Mustang,PayEvo and Muad have been through here as well on the various meets/mini meets - its well worth having a meet just for the experience of a 1st/2nd gear Mivec moment in such an enclosed tunnel on such a quite road.

Ah yes - the tunnel, good fun that!
word of warning though - don't try filming AND driving at the same time.
Would love to go again once I have the twin exit xhaust back on the car..
