Got them at a good discount through the Mitsi Lancer Register (www.lancerregister.com), in the club shop. £117.50 each for non members, £76.50 for members. Membership is £35.

Yup, they would fit, I run with 235/40/17, with the 45 your rolling radius will be slightly larger than standard so your speedo will be slightly out. Would give you better comfort too.
I don't have problems with rubbing with 40, dunno if you would with 45.
