98 GPvR Manual

Postby RussMan » Sun Nov 04, 2007 6:32 pm

Hi,

Finally getting my finger out to advertise and sell this... going up on carzone tomorrow and cbg...I'll be sorry to sell her but its really pissing me off just looking at it as i don't get much opportunity to drive it now since upgrading.
I'll get some photos up tomorrow when i can
Quick overview.

1998 GPvR Aero
Manual
80K Miles.
Black with Red Version R Seats.
Original Fto Mats with Clips.
17" White Deep Dish alloys

A number of stone chips and marks around the body work.
Paint in good condition and car just had full valet / polish.
Alloys fully refurbished with receipts and covered only a couple of 100 miles since done although one has a slight curbing on it from the day after i collected it :(

Stereo would most likely need replacing as i only used it with my IPOD and ITrip as its a Mini Disc player / radio. But works fine.

A number of receipts for the likes of laser alignment / new expensive tyres fitted when alloys refurbished

Car is a rare manual with Sunroof and door sills are the factory fitted illuminating FTO ones.

Willing to let this car go cheap enough as it needs to be NCT's, Taxed etc and i've already upgraded to the 350Z so i just really don't have time to be doing all this stuff.

Make me an offer or call if you have any queries.
PM me for my mobile number

Thanks
Russ

Lovely looking FTO - I doubt the slow sale has much to do with price though - its just demand.

BTW - How do you find the FTO in comparison to the Zed??

Myfto....
When i get back into the fto i notice a fair few differences.

Main things noticed was gearshift... The Z is super quick and a real flick of the wrist (which i felt the fto was) but when i get back into the fto there is a huge difference. Seems to be a much longer gearstick and therefore gear changes are more effort.

Also the handling, the fto is much lighter handling than the Z, the Z feels overweight but at the same time very well planted on the road.
I've managed to get both understeer and oversteer in the Z whilst in pursuit of my local friendly Scooby owner :)

Your gearknob isn't helping much either ;)

Good luck with the sale Russ...

I drive with a gear knob similar to that - and it definately adds a few inches in height..

Not great for fast changes - but quite comfy..best gear knob I've had in there was that standard one :-)

Good luck with the sale Russmeister - I know you've put a lot of effort into getting her just right - so no doubt buyer will be getting a good car..
