Does anybody know roughly what AH I should go for - I'll be hooking up Atleast 2 amps (2x500w each) - and all my stupid screens to keep me distracted whilst I'm driving..

Is there something other than physical size I should take in to conderation?

AH- (Ampere Hour) the larger ampere hour the better battery life, but bigger and heavier type battery. If you have amplifiers, screens, etc.. high ampere hour is the best for you, one start ignition start will impove too.

Just make sure and install a capacitor in line with the amps and you should be fine.

Okidoki...have a 1f cap lying around so that'll go in as well..

what's considering "high" ah? I've seen batteries with 44AH and some with 85AH - are they "standard" will I need something like 200ah or similar?

85AH should be more than sufficient if you're running a cap. I've two amps with a cap inline on an 85AH battery, its been running fine for 2 years.
