Postby dikdastardly2004 » Mon Jun 21, 2004 7:42 pm

hi lads and girls .sorry to hear about your car mate . theres nothing worse than a scumbag damaging your car. i work in the security and to tell you the truth if they want your car they will take it . most run of the mill scummers wont bother if the car has an immobiliser but the lads that where at your car where good . you where blessed man. another 10 or 15 mins and it was gone . the best you can do is to make it as awkward for them to rob .they will then go somewhere else .i park mine in the garden with my girlfriends crap little car in front of it and my company van accross the driveway . problem ftos do attract attention . sorry again mate . cheers

ye, thats right mate ! we think we are secure but the scummers can get through that crap in a second. like i said i examined my car and when i realised what they had done i set my alarm (doors locked, alarm on) i then opend the bonnet from the outside, lifted the hood and cut the siren cable in less than 4 seconds, the alarm went through two cycles, it wouldn't waken anyone. then with the siren quitened i opend the doors in less than 3 min, i reckon a pro could do it in 10-20n seconds, then i was in and could start messing with the wiring. i now have a second siren wired in paralell with the first and fitted inside the car and while i was doing that i removed part of the door lock that enables them to gain easy entry, i now sleep better !!
