Looks well in the pic, will be interested to hear how you like it after. Do you know is it loud or same as standard? Might have to go for an exhaust myself in the near future, leaning towards the mongoose...

I quite like the look of the oval one.

It'd be nice to have one on either side.
Are there any other off the shelf oval setups available for the FTO?

CJ had the oval Mongoose - I have the same.

I think that the oval sets off the car better than the round, given that the rear of the car is almost oval in shape itself as a whole.

dont want quads for 2 reasons..... 1 i dont wanna cut my bumper, 2 i dont want the car wicked loud.
i figured this was the best option for me cause i dont wanna change the sound of the car but i wanna free it up a bit with a decat.

and figured i may as well change the whole things because the current one has been welded before cause of it being from england and that.

Fitting a d-cat pipe will change the sound of your car, slighty louder.
I think this version would be better as it fills the cut out in the bumper more substantiallyhttp://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m3b0s11p460
I opted for the 5" round which I found dissapointingly quite, it not the size of the tailpipe so much as the size/volume of the silencer box that dictates how loud your exhaust will sound. I'm thinking of fitting a de-cat pipe myself now to make mine a little louder to exagerate that V6 burble :D

Meant to say earlier Miss-enzo, I'm sorry if it came across as we were knocking your choice. Its great that there are so many choices out there now, so people can get both the style and noice they want (within reason :) ), and your reasons for choosing that one is as good as anyones.
I actually look forward to hearing this with the decat in. Best of luck with it.

.

Good reasons and much the same logic I used when choosing this particular replacement.
I feel a bit like the kid that pointed out the emporer was in fact naked but here goes. No doubt the pro quad lobby will be on to argue the point.
Loud exhausts are not to everyones taste, and in particular 4 pipes for a 'mere' 2 litre engine capacity is was ott IMO.
I like the look of the camskill unit, the pictures on the website don't really do it justice, and make it look a bit weedy.
I also like the look of the Mongoose unit, but IIRC the pipes are nearly too big for the section cut out of the bumper, giving rise to knocking etc.

If you are still based in around Limerick, I am not a million miles away if you want to see and hear the camskill unit.

I don't think the quads are loud at all - esp if you keep the decat on.
Obviously the quads are more about the look than any increase in performance (cause there isn't) and I think thats the point the guys are trying to get across here.

All down to personal taste I guess.

Delivery will prolly happen straight from the factory. You'll be delighted - getting rid of the standard exhaust was a bit of an eye/ear opener for me..
