Flew through the NCT today. Delighted!!! .
Although I did find it weird that it was opened on a Sunday.

Nice one, always good to hear. I think it went through pretty easy too when I had it. The only thing I remember being a bit worried about was emissions, but a bit of e85 petrol did the trick.
Think I passed on the full NCT stats to the other Tom when I sold it, but I'll have a quick look to make sure its not here.

Yeah do... thanks guys. I put a nice bit of work into her since I bought her,and still have a few little things to do but so far so good
It's always good to hear that a car of 16 years can breeze through a NCT test. I was getting worried as there were 4 people in front of me in newer cars and all failed

Thanks cullen. I like the alloys and really think they suit it. It might be the case where you either like or hate that kinda thing.
The car is going fine there were one or two small things which were easily fixed. The new gearbox was put in a few days after buying it off you and is perfect. I brought it to a specialist in Dublin and he said the whole thins was fecked and didn't know how it was so easy to get into first to fifth and not just reverse not working. I still have the sunroof to do and that's me done. I bought another sunroof of Seb months ago but never fitted it yet.
