the light's and wiring are missing on them and could use some TLC but for whoever want a set for project or even a standard set ( as underneath the aluminum plate , the plastic plate is standard) this would make a good start.

somebody with a working set could confirm that as i have no idea . i presume you'll need the wiring ,the plasma lights , converter ,fuse ? have no clue to be honest

Hmmm, if it was a just a case of getting some wire and a light pad I'd be interested.
If it's heart surgery I'd leave it.

You're not far off it at that Bernard. All you need extra is an inverter, but you get that with the EL pads/sheets anyway. Something like this is all you'd need me thinks.

Ah, but there is. If you go to that link, and go to the sellers shop/other items, there are a load of colours to choose from. I just put up the link to the first bit of EL stuff I could find.

Far as I know Colm you can change the colour by changing the plates, can get them off ebay too I think, cause I was looking at red ones for mine instead of the greeny blue colour.

i was actually browsing for orange sheet, as i changed al the leds durin de week and wanted kick plates to match. but couldn't find it anywhere! ah well red will do!

Get a thin piece of yellow plastic and that will turn it orange. Never know it might work.
Might get a blue one myself. If there are a few people getting some it might be worth doing a group buy
