The Irish Mitsubishi FTO Owners Club

For any of you that like a bit of rallying, the Circuit of Munster will be passing my house in Askeaton Co. Limerick on the 1st of June.
Where I live is right on a 90° corner after a series of jumps so it should be good.

I plan on having a BBQ on the day so if any of you are interested you're more than welcome, especially any noobs who might not have been to a meet before.
There's plenty of parking in the garden .

I've yet to find out what times the road will be closed but I'll post that when I have it.



I was thinking if there's enough interest we could make a meet out of it.
There's a hotel and a couple of B&Bs within a handy drive.
Also there is paintballing,kartingand a nice park (for pics) within 15 minutes.

It's not for a few weeks yet and well before the Slick show in Limerick so there's plenty of time to discuss / organise something...

Any suggestions welcome

Yeah, you're only out the road from me here so I'd def be up for that. And if there was anything I could do in the lead up to help I'd be glad to assist.
Was always jealous of those people at rally's sitting in their lawn sippin a nice cold one, this time, it could be me!

Sounds like a great opportunity for a meet Bernard, how about we start a list? Are there many options around B&Bs or hotels in the area? An overnighter would be an idea for folks who have to travel a distance.

The road will be closed from 1 to 6PM.
We'll get to see everything twice as it's stage 5 & 7, also as they're later stages people should be pushing that bit harder

There's a hotel in Rathkeale which is less than 10 minutes away.

I'll mention it to the other half, she will be 8 months pregnant at that stage so who knows!!! but sounds like a good meet, fair play Bernard!!

Sounds good, long way to go for a hot dog but we wouldnt bernard getting fat eating them all to himself now would we... I'll have to see if I'm working first though... probably am though, but leave it with me.
