neutral flashing

any1 know does the neutral light flash approx once per sec when there is a fault when under normal driving conditions or does it only flash when checking for codes (connecting terimal 1 to earth). hope this makes sence :D

Ifn the Neutral light flashes during normal driving conditions, theres either a problem with the gearbox (as in a dodgy sensor) ot the fluid has become too hot. When you earth the diagnostic connector, it will also flash once per second, this is normal behavior....

if its 1Hz then its a sensor, if it flashes at 2Hz, twice per second, then the box has overheated and needs to cool down.
