Most experienced FTO mechanic in Ireland - Paul Nolan.

Although sounds like Steelroe has dismantled and put together more FTOs than anyone else in Ireland also.

Paul is based in Clonshaugh Industrial Estate in North Dublin. Can be reached quickly off the M50 for those coming from different parts. Mobile 086-264-9884.

I Think any mechanic can check the basics on your car.
make sure that brakes , tyres and all liquids are up to date and you'll be just fine.

I second that, there is nothing special about the FTO, any mechanic worth his salt will fix it. And if any mechanic says he wont touch it then you are probably better off not askin him.

You could read a few threads here and get a good idea of the pitfalls of an FTO. Roof rust, arch rust, paint condition, mileage, engine noise etc.
Currently in my collection:
'98 Toyota Starlet...
'79 Mini Clubman 1380cc ~100BHP (I hope)
'79 BMW 728
Dilogoat86
I prefer my FTO to the missus
