MIVEC Help

Hi all, ive got a problem.

My car has been fine since i bought it, earlier in year but last week its started making a gassy noise(easiest way to explain it) when mivec kicks in instead of the regular roar.

When its not in mivec range its fine.

Hoping the mivec is not fooked, please can someone reasure me and tell me its a small cheap problem?

Just check your exhaust isn't blowing, as in low revs (low pressure) you might not hear it but when in high revs (high pressure) it will be more noticeable, i'm guessing the noise sounds like its coming from just infront and under you, like maybe a gasket from the downpipe, had this one myself. it sounded more of a woosh than a roar

ive taken her out tonight after work and she seems better?????

would it hesitate if it was zorst blowing or gasket on downpipe?
