RX-7 calipers

I did a job on the Rex's big old 4-pot front calipers, I reckon the white lettering on red goes well with black, whatcha think?







I was thinking of doing the rears in silver to accentuate the fronts, the rear twin pots aren't exactly small but it might a bit tacky if both front and rears were done in red. Yes or no?

Personally I'd go with all 4 the same colour but I'd want all 4 easy visible so its up to yourself...

Tidy job - did you also paint the hubs in black?

Red calipers always look good on a black car - and I'd def want them all round.


Only exception to this rule is if you have rear drum brakes - DON"T paint rear drums people!

I did, maybe I should have done 'em in silver. In my experience, silver hubs tend to get discoloured by brake dusk over time.

Makes sense I suppose. The rears are about the same size as GS/GR front calipers so they shouldn't look too bad painted up (unlike those tiny calipers on the likes of [ insert the name of any common hatchback here ])
