really bad choices to make

got my insurance renewal.... up £250 ffs may have to take the fto off the road for a year and buy a scrapper for a bit. or sell up, which is not what i wanna do... any suggestions? with my convictions not off my licence for another year and a half i think i need a wwe 1st timers car. would like to keep the fto and do her up a bit well more clean her,recover the underneeth and get engine and bay painted up.

I presume you've shopped around? I've had €1000 difference between quotes in the past.

yea shopped about but only got 50 cheaper. gunna just pay up and shut up lol went for a nice wee drive today and truthfully didnt see another car i wanted exept for a 911 lol. i can always take the car off the road for a week in the summer to do all the work i want well maybe not get the engine bay painted but deffo get the engine done. the sooner this car gets to the classic age the better then i can afford to keep a run about aswell

I suppose you have to remind yourself why you bought the FTO in the first place. Going for a nice spin should remind you :)

i bought my fto because i wanted one since 96-97 lol used to play with it on an old game cant remember what it even was. to me its kinda the car i wanted and want to keep for a good while. owning it for 3 years now and no real problems just makes me want to keep it even more especisally since there is no rust on mine :D and what other car looks as good
