Regrettably, we've decided to sell the GX, room needs to be made on the driveway for something more frugal which means the FTO must go.
I imported this car myself back in March '08 with 93k kms on the clock, I was surprised at how clean it was at the time and I'm happy to say that its retained its condition as can be seen from the pics below. The car is relatively standard with some minor additions, my emphasis was on keeping the car in good running order. This is a fine example of a late model facelift FTO in excellent condition, it will be difficult to find a car in such good condition for the money. Car can be viewed @ the Terenure show this weekend. Heres the low-down:
Service history:The car has some service history from Japan, in more recent times, the following has been undertaken:
93k kms - 6 x NGK Iridium plugs, timing belt / tensioner, water pump, coolant change.
96k kms - engine oil + filter change
104k kms - engine oil + filter change, gearbox oil change (70w90)
110k kms - current mileage, oil + filter change 30th June
Engine:1990cc 6A12 V6, ITG Maxogen induction kit.
Transmission, brakes & suspension5 speed manual box, twin pot front calipers and disks from a GPX fitted last year, Greenstuff front pads, Expelir lowering springs
Exterior:Passion red paintwork in good condition, Cibie front fogs, clear front indicators, rear light cluster and side indicators wrapped in red tint film, standard FTO sideskirts, standard 16" FTO alloys (refurbished last year) with Vredestein 205/50/26 tyres (less than 10k kms), 4.3k HID driving lights.
Interior:Aluminium dial rings, Kenwood stereo, standard Momo steering whell, aftermarket Momo gear knob, seats carpets and mats all in good condition.
