Ouch

I wouldn't consider using the standard battery with a 1F cap, you'll find that it will drain your battery very quickly, consider using a battery with a rating of 75AH (amp hours) or more.
Oh - right..Darn...some how I was hoping the cap would be enough - but I suppose it makes sense.. I guess I should think of the CAP as a power smoother..?

If you've bought a second hand cap, make sure that its fully discharged before installing it, they hold a massive amount of charge and can really mess up your electrical system if installed incorrectly.
NICE1 - yes it is secondhand...I would almost certainly have messed up something upon connecting it if you hadn't reminded me to do this! Cheers!
Will find something 12v and hook it up...also have a volt meter lying about so I can measure any residual current.

You should only need to hook up your amps to the cap, if you wanna take a closer look at my (basic) install, let me know.

Neat! Thanks.. That looks very clean... I might give you a call when the CAP arrives. Depending on how long it takes me to install the seats I might go a get that piece of MDF I need to fit the 12" behind the rear seats..and then it's just a matter of getting the wiring done and sticking in a battery..
Money pit
