1995 circuit diagram

Postby aum108 » Mon Mar 10, 2008 12:07 pm

Hi,

does anyone know where i can get a digital or hardcopy version of the circuit diagram for a 1995 FTO?

I've already downloaded the 1998 version of the circuit from this site, but there are some differences, especially in the junction box in the steering column.

I really need the 1995 version since I'm still trying to track down a short in the tail lights/position lights circuit that keeps blowing fuse 10.

Cheers
David

The 98 version is the only one I'm aware of, but if you find another please post it here!

Out of curiousity, what differences did you see in the junction box?

I reckon there can't be too much different, I've wired in bits and pieces like my rain sensor kit using the 98 diagrams.

According to the '98 schematic, the fogs are enabled from the light switch in the indicator stalk.

But in my '95, the fogs work regardless of whether the lights are turned on or not. That's one difference. There's likely to be a lot more.

Anyway, the shorting problem has gone away for good this time - seems the 3rd party radio had connected the illumination lights wire into it, and that within the radio was the short. Solution - replace with new MP3/CD player and all is now well.
