I'm sure we can work some sort of helmet rota Dave..

You won't be able to rotate helmets for the 1/4 mile site battle as you could be running one behind the other.

I should be able to get my hands on a spare helmet but try source ye're own if ye can.

Does anyone on the FTO Ireland stand have a helmet to spare?

Ivan has confirmed for the site battle - ran in last years 1/4 mile with us - just one more space now left on the site battle team - FTOlam and Miss Enzo both mentioned they were on for the site battle - just one space left so first come - first served.

All entries will be put in this Friday - anyone else for the FTO stand?

Believe there is free entry to the Trinity Rooms - however the pre-party at Chez MfFTO is the place to be this year.

I have removed my dvd player and most of my center console as it's not an essential part of the driving experience.

im gonna go see what i can do 2mrw somewhere cause i dont wanna totally embarass myself on the day by bein pure slow! esp cause i wont be strippin nethin out of my car... unless someone wants to remove and replace things like passenger seat and that durin the day!!

Most people didn't strip their FTO's at all - Russman even decided that it'd be better to add weight and still ran sub 15 secs with a Manual Mivec.

The majority of FTO's had 15-16 sec times - though there was also a Tip in the 17's.

If you strip out your FTO you may be able to knock off a couple of tenths but we aren't in this to win (there will be some BIG power 4WDs and RWDs) - we're just there to promote the site and have a bit of craic. We can help you with removing some of the interior stuff on the day if you like (rear seats, Boot contents - tools spare etc). If you get into the 15's I'll be mightly impressed but 16's will still be respectable. You are also the proud owner of a Manual Mivec - so you should be well up there with the other FTO times.

You don't need an NCT to run the 1/4 mile. They have mentioned this on the form just to stop someone taking a scrapheap out on the track.

I ran the FTO on the 1/4 mile for the last couple of years without an NCT - my current Zed doesn't have one either.
