I am a huge petrol head and especially love JDM cars.
After being given the rare offer of a car for a mere couple hundred green queens, I was quite surprised to be the new owner of a 4 speed Tip '96 GR FTO in Steel Silver. Not bad for a first car
When I first got the car it had flat tyres with grass growing from under them and mold on the windows - not a promising sign but to my disbelief (after 6 months of being left to rot) she started with ease first time. The broken b pipe in the exhaust made the car sound like an old Spitfire fighter jet
5 months down the line now I'd like to say shes' back to seeing the better days with many more to come!
Some of the things that were wrong
- Cracks from Y junction of exhust all the way to back box including complete breakage at b pipe..
Electric mirror broken
Water temp guage not working (dodgy sensor)
excessively corroded discs, pads and capliers all round
... etc ... etc
The thing sounds an absolute beast now with that lovely V6 note and gets plenty of attention in my town (even got a head turn from a dog the other day - no joke!)
Love the thing to bits!
