3k? Bit tight if your looking for the right car!
If your only willing to pay that much, you'll be paying alot more to fix it later!

I certainly wouldn't know as much about these cars as most of the guys here, but for what its worth, I'd agree with Marie. I waited a long time to find my GS, and drove a couple going for €3.5-4k, and they weren't a patch on the one I ended up getting, but I did have to pay over €4k for it. For that I got leather seats, and a nice set of alloys (IMO of course :oops: ) good condition inside and out, and low (85k) milage. Any importantly, no problems since I got it (Touch wood).
Anyway, I'm very happy I waited and spent that little bit more, well worth it!

right now there are plenty of FTO's goin under 5 K .
or you are fixed on a GS ?

I had a guy lookin for a mirror yesterday to put on a GR that he got for €1800. The car was in amazing condition given the price.

There are a lot of cheap FTO's on the market at the moment, just need to know what to look out for and you could get a bargain, a lot of s**t arround too.
