removing steering wheel

Anyone advise if this is a quick enough job ? How do I go about about doing this ?

Extremely quick - pull off the rubber on the front of the wheel (assuming no airbag) and it's held on by a single nut.

When removing take care ... if you're not careful when you're pulling you may end up with a mouth full of steering wheel, followed by a visit to the dentists

Loosen the steering wheel nut but dont remove it. Pull upward gently and at the same time hit the steering column with a variable pressure applicator. (Hammer)

This saves you tugging away for ages and getting a mouthful.
