[WANTED] Original GR springs

Postby thesaint » Thu Nov 18, 2010 4:15 pm

Hi,

Does anyone have the regular springs for a GR, my fto was lowered before I bought, but getting tired of the sound made by the wheels rubbing the arches, plus can't be good for tyre wear.

Cheers

Not exactly the solution you are after, but you could tie back the arches to reducing rubbing, or even remove them altogether?

Thanks for the replies. Have given the cable tie option a go, nearly sorted, will play around with it a bit more to try and get it fully silent, I'll be in touch if I can't get it sorted.

Thanks again.

Eventually the rubbing sound will stop (once it wears through the arch liners).
I had mine riveted to keep them out of the way - tie binds will work just as well.
If the trye is rubbing the wheel arch itself you could get the wheel arch rolled.
