rear drop links. How Difficult? (GPX)

Hi
just about to order new drop links for the rear this weekend but are they easy to change myself with axel stands?

Also as the car is lowered a little bit (done when I got it) are the standard ones ok or should I go for the ones for lowered suspension?
Do they have any effect on the ride hieght? (I like it as it is)

Also is there anything other than axel stands, socket set, WD40 and the new drop links that I will need :?:

:oops: sorry about the dumb questions but I can't find an idiots guide when I've searched and if it's a tough job I'll get the garage to do it, dont want to get half way through and not be able to get it back together

Other Stuff: Induction kit. Front Strut. Apex Lowered. 17" Kahns. Quad exhaust. HID lights. Glow dials and rings/cups. Black leather seats. Window tints. Sunroof.
