aircon pump

went through a street where a flash flood occured,went through it,conked out and after 20 mins started again............big hum coming from engine,garage says need a aircon pump.checked camskill cant see one,where else could i check.cheers everyone

I'm 99% sure I have one (including magnetic clutch, pulley etc) for a 95 GR model if that's any good to you, was running nice and quiet before I removed it.

Camskill do the clutch/pulley part seperately, this is probably the bit thats causing the noise, does the noise go away if the aircon is switched off?

colm..............my baby is 95 gr,when i turn air con on it goes away...................garage says he is 100%its air con pump....................how much u looking for urs?

sounds like a problem with the pulley/clutch to be honest.

you can have the pump and bearing and clutch for €85 though. Will have a look for it this evening.

BFM, you should be covered with the pump, bearing and clutch, they're assembled in one unit and can be swapped in without too much difficulty. Going this route is more straightforward than replacing individual components.
