Any suggestions on improving it would are welcome.
If someone can get me a good straight on pic of a facelift I can have a go at that too later, or if ye want a different colour let me know.

I'm sensing a strong interest in getting these produced and out for sale - probably for each of the standard FTO colours and for both standard and facelift cars.

I presume that getting a custom number plate text could be asking a bit much ? Can the FTO Store guys do non-standard one-offs like this ?

Topcat, looks excellent - great work. And as others have said, you should have entered the competition!

Do you have a hi-res version you could send onto myself (ciaran @ fto-ireland.com) and muad? Can you stick 'www.fto-ireland.com' on the number plate?

I think we should have a go at using this design on the shop apparel with the site logo on the back. Suggest using the main colours (grey/black/red/white/blue) but limit the number of available clothes options (it would get too messy to maintain.)

CJ

EDIT: A rear FTO line-art profile on the back of a t-shirt to compliment the front would look the business

Thanks for the pic Bernard, but for once, your car is just TOO shiney, it was hard to pic out the lines. But thanks anyway.
But I managed to find a good pic, and the result is...

Gold star for the first person who recognised the car. :)
I'll have a look at drawing up the rear end when I get home tonight (my job might be at threat otherwise), and a few colours as suggested.
@ CJ, how high a res would you like, and what format? And where can I get a high-res FTO-Ireland logo?

In terms of res, something like 72dpi would do the job in JPG and EPS if possible. You can download a hi-res site logo in PSD format from here.

Well done Top Cat :D

These t shirts would be the bee's knees....id deffo buy one and wear it even when driving the Levin.

I think a fairly decent sized logo would be good on the back in an effort to promote the club in style 8)

K, well I was messing about with these last night, and I need your opinion on something. I've done both pre- and post-facelift with black and with white headlights, which looks best? .....

And he's one for Mcgon and the crew... :)

Will try to get one done of the back of car at some stage today too.

Lookin' good Topcat. How about have the outside light area black and make the innner section white as per the actual headlights?

Its gonna be tough to keep everyone happy in terms of pre vs facelift (my personal favorite) - vote off?

Correct and you won if I remember correctly! This is outside the scope of the competition - you must admit that the crisp design lends itself to a t-shirt print, among other things.

Not sure if you ment the above in relation to the head light or fogs, so I did both and you can see what you think..
Hope it does bring back any painful memories...

As for the competition, I don't mean to step on any toes. I didn't enter that cos I was very busy at work, and didn't have any ideas at the time either. I've only done the above cos someone asked could anyone do a pic similar to the one which started the post. I'm not lookin to claim any title (or a free t-shirt  ), just offering my help.

I'm sure Adrian will appreciate if ;) I would suggest having the headlights and dipped beams white with the surround black. I'd keep the fogs and indicators white.

Point taken. Dan won the print design cometition fair and square, his design is currently emblazoned on a t-shirt which is available to everyone from the Shop. Personally, I think the designs that you're woking on have a certain appeal and I would hate to miss the opportunity to use them in some way. Personally, I've tried to come up with similar designs in the past for use as a club logo / insignia but I failed to do so. Note that I'm assuming you've no issue with us using your designs to promote the club ;)
