great price. had a front heated window on my last car and it was brilliant. about 200 almost transparent (hair width) wires running from top to bottom of the window. you can barely see them upon inspection. but if the windscreen is steamed up ir clears it in 20 seconds. totally clear. If its iced over in winter, clears it in about 2 mins or less. no hot water or de-icer or scraping. brilliant.

The only experience I have of them is from a fiesta I got on loan... I found it distracting.
That said, I suppose you wouldn't notice after a week or two.
Just heard back from the guy who put up the post. He didn't say the name of the company but said they are the same supplier as the one camskill uses for making their windscreens. He also said the elements are so fine they are barely noticeable.
I asked for the name of the supplier but he didn't give it. Just said the same as camskill. Thought it might be better to try organise an irish fto club buy i(f there was enough interest) as you could have them all shipped directly to Ireland rather than to the the guy organising the buy and then having him forward them on to you.
He's also gonna try get a pic. If he sends me one I'l post it up here.
i'd say most peeps would go through insurance when it comes to changing the windscreen but if there is any interest we could try .
