A lot of '98 cars on the market compared to say 6 months ago, when there were just none. Are people really paying those type of prices?

That car is indicated as being a '98. Yes it's the old shape. But could still genuinely be a '98. I.e. not registed until '98 or somebody actully removed the facelift bumper and fitted a velside bumper
You'd really need the chassis no. to be sure....
Of course it could just be a '95 car which they have incorrectly advertised as a '98 along with the over inflated pricing for that year.
