[FTO MEET] CARLOW [27th/28th feb 2010]

Hi all was thinking of having a Meet in Carlow at the end of Feb as we seem to have 1 that time of the year every year, Was sure John had put 1 up before but couldn't find it for Carlow, I know ye just had 1 but said I would get the Ball rolling to see if there was any interest we could also take in Kilkenny If ye wanted, The only thing to do in Carlow is 10 pin bowling, But we could do a nice drive up to Mt Lenister (go on Lenister ) two weekend I was thinking of was 20th-21st or 27th-28th That's if ye wanted to do an overnigher WELL WHAT YE THINK

I'd be up for a Carlow meet, as you say we normally have an anniversary meet in February anyway.
I'm not too worried about the date as chances are I'll be free.

I'm pretty eager to finally make it to one of these so I'd say count me in preliminarily for either weekend. Apart from work, my February calander is fairly blank

Me too ha. By the look of it the 1st weekend seem to be best anyone got any other idea's on what to do for the day or night if ye want to stay over as it will fly around once the Christmas is over

As from best meets 09, Was thinking we could take in some of carlow/kilkenny waterford, Meet in carlow head over the mountain for a few photo's on into newross head for waterford back out the kilkenny road maybe take in mount juilet and back to carlow or kilkenny for an overnighter just something for ye all to think about

As the vote's are 60% - 40% we need to pick a weekend as somepeople may need to book it off (Elaine been 1) any other taught's on what ye all would like to do a nice drive dinner chat and if ye want back to a hotel for the night, it's not that far away now once the new year is in it will fly around.

Agreed, it's early days yet though. I'm sure we'll get good numbers for this.
