YouTube MP3 convertor

A friend of mine showed me this last night. You just download the application then go to YouTube and copy the URL to the convertor. It then saves the track as an MP3 to your laptop. Simple to use and very handy.

It does say too when your downloading that its saving the video too but going by the file size that ends up being saved its only saving the music.

Youtube is after getting so anal with songs now though its tough to find a good track on it anymore. I used have a link to a vid with ghostrider's Upsalla Run and the track in the background was Linkin Parks In The End, suited the video perfectly, but now the track is removed and the video looks crap without it. I can understand copyright and stuff but they go too far on that site now. Wreck many a good video.

I normally want to get videos and not MP3s from Youtube so here's one that I prefer better - no download required.

Im confused - why are you downloading mp3s from youtube ... there are so many other options available.

I use Real Player to download flv files. handy to have them in playlists. doremisoft.com do a FLV to MP3 converter that works quite well. good for obscure stuff thats on youtube but not elsewhere

quality is crap on any downloaded i encountered .
i find the torrents a much better option

the quality has been fine for me with the exception of one or two things. But you can always listen to it first or gauge it on the ratings. Anyway, if nothing else i might be handy for stuff you cant find elsewhere.

Just used this to get a catchy new tune down from Youtube - works quite well.

Take a listen to the song - think it could be destined to be a 2010 feelgood anthem !!

i use doremisoft all the time, sometimes has issues with converting but on the whole I'm delighted with it. I download the video first using realplayer then convert, there are different quality settings/sample rated, the default settings aren't great.
