Front Grill Pre-Facelift GR

Postby briencrean » Wed Oct 08, 2008 10:38 pm

Hi all,

When I bought my FTO the front wire mesh grill was ripped so I pulled the rest out.

Now I want to either replace it or put something else in its place that looks good but I'm not sure what to do?

Any one have any ideas or know where I can get a grill? If possible something that can be taken out and put back in if required?

Also anyone know where I can get clear repeaters for the sides I want to replace the ugly orange ones I have!

Thanks

Brien

you can put any mesh that's out there for sale (halfords , local motorfactors....? ) as long as you like the model and you cut it to size .
it's easy enough to fit ( just need to take out bumper)

clear side repeaters ? i'd say Ebay
do a search on the forum

and BTW there is no prefacelift & facelift GR . it's GR or GX

there was a facelift GR Seb, it lost some of the spec from the prefacelift model (had manual aircon for example) very very rare though.

Clear repeaters here: http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_detail.php?prodID=807

As Seb said, you should be able to pick up the mesh easily enough.

Have a look at the black side repeaters too, worth considering for the black car.
Have a search on ebay for mx5 repeaters.

Thanks TopCat.

I think I found them here:

I'm dying of a hangover and cant get the link to work!!

They look really well. I saw the mod in the knowledge base as well. Sounds manageable, hopefully I wont f*** it up!
