The paintwork on the TT is looking a bit dull and i've picked up a lot of light scratches and swirl marks so I've booked the TT in for a paint correction with www.detailer.ie - recommended on the bmw-driver.net forum.

Hopefully the car will look spanking new after which should help resale when the time comes....

I'm keen to get the black paint work back to it's best - I've a bunch of scratches just like the BM above so if mine turns out like this I'll be a very happy man Ar worst it should help any potential resale - at best it might make me keep the car a bit longer.......

I've done a couple of Audi's lately. Both 98 A3's .. the paint on them is really 'hard' and durable. Takes a bit longer then other marques to correct but always get a great shine from them. If looked after properly (i'll go through that with you when the magic is done) it will last a long time too.

I never did get this done - could never find the time to leave the car in so instead I'm going to follow CJs lead and get a polisher. Have my name down for a UDM from Andy - will probably also get a few other bits from him in the process. I think it can be set for rotary and orbital but that's to be confirmed. All I need now is to get a decent how-to so I don't do any damage

The portfolio on that site is absolutely stunning. Considering leaving the car in for a full detail sometime soon. expensive enough, but the time and quality that goes into it should set your car up for the year easily if you keep it clean after the detail.
