Just wondering what you guys think of this dial surround for 35 includeing P&P? bit over kill? Found a guy on ebay who makes loads of fto custom parts himself,,he seems pretty sound and im sure he'd do deals,,bought a stereo mivec blank of him.

I have one of those as well..

I'm happy with it - I've combined with dial rings, needle cups and white el-dials.

No, its proper carbon fibre, no overlaying or anything... bought from rb-performance on ftooc. Must take a snap and put it on my album or something.

NICE1 CJ,, still wondering what the metal effect would look like?,, just wondering were you got them dials,, think they'd be the first step for me.

Actually that reminds me, I floored mine while taking off yesterday and she redlined, dont know if it went up to the full or what but the engine gave a few hisses, but the thing is, isnt the gear supposed to change up automatically if you red-line? And yes its automatic before anyone says it has to be on automatic.

If the engine isn't warmed up, it'll hit the limiter sooner. did you take it into the MIVEC zone?

Took it so far in there I flew out the other side of it with my ass on fire! Mivec kicks in at 4500 doesnt it?

As far as I know the engine will only rev to 6000K when cold...

She wasnt cold, I warmed her, I always do, for 5 mins before taking off, plus this was no noise off a 6000 gear change! I saw the needle slipping down under the 8000 and that was after changing up.
