Thanks for coming down to look at the car, turns out i was worrying for nothing, and i just really need to sort out a bit of rust on the drivers arch and a some of the paint work! shall be getting a quote for the rust asap! thanks again lads!!

No problem Richard, happy to help out.

In fairness the car was very clean inside.
You need to get a calculator out and do your sums though...

Factor in the cost of a respray and welding a plate in for that rust.

Oh i know, but im not too bothered about the paint for now, i know a metal fabricator that will fix the rust and do the full ss exhaust for easy money.. ill have to wait for a respray, or might just get the bonnet sprayed, and get from the doors up sprayed black, and polish up the rest, ill go through it all with my local body shop.... again thanks for the help, i hate yer mans wife tho, the paint prob would have been ok if it hadnt have been parked for 2 years in direct sunlight!!! heard yea got to see john hinchy's V8... some beast of a car

No prob Richard. Just remember to get her on a ramp asap as well and give her a good going over.
The Commodore was some machine all right, a nice rarity on the roads here.
