Petrol Flap Problem

Postby briencrean » Mon Dec 29, 2008 9:16 pm

Hi all,

has anyone had a problem where their petrol flap no longer springs out?

Can't figure out what is the cause of the problem by looking at it.

I could just glue a spring behind the door but I'd rather fix it properly

That would be very handy. Do you know what section it is under on camskill?

I could only find the fuel flap and the fuel flap clip under the FTO Body Panels, Interior & Misc. Parts section

Thanks

I just remembered I bought that part ages ago with a load of other stuff and completely forgot about it.

I must go and try and attach it to the flap. I'll post back if it fits

I finally found that part I ordered ages ago. I had forgotten all about it.

It was the part that you mentioned Colm on camskill.
