I spotted a '98 (993) 911 Carerra 4 on the carrickmines roundabout - first time I've ever seen a 911 close to the edge - the speed it came around the roundabout was absolutely amazing. Looked awesome from behind with the wide track and narrow waist - totally beautiful car 8)

Did the 993 not run from 1993 to 1997 when it was replaced by the 997?

The 993 Carerra 4 ran until 1997 and the Turbo and Carerra 4s ran until 1998 - I reckon this must have been a last of the line 1997 Carerra 4 and registered in 1998. Btw, the 993 was replaced by the 996 ;)
