Brakes

Keep getting very servere metal on metal noise from my front right. Stops briefly when i brake hard. Guessing its the pads but unsure. Do GS and Mivec have the same brake pads?

GPX has different pads to GS.

Yes Different pads - if you're unsure which ones to get and you dont trust Halfrauds to know either try contacting RiceRocket or Camskill they'll have them.. Steelroe might even have them in stock, he sometimes stocks stuff.

time is of the essence though, you don't want to knacker your discs too.

Any factors will have them. Takre one of the pads in with you. The GS are the same as some colts

Thanks lads.. went into a place in Cork there to get them and he went flicking through books and checking his computer and I still ended up with the wrong pads. Very annoying, didnt realise till id the first one off and saw.

I've never got pads from any of the shops in Cork, but the GS and GR have the same front brakes, 1 pot. GPX/GPvR and I think GX? have 2 pot brakes. Take a look at the camskill website, you can get part numbers off that if you want to try to source it lately.

The GS\GR share the same front pads as the Mirage 1.6, Eterna and some Galants.
