Been browsing through the internet trying to find the conversion kits for sale but not having any luck. There's a lot of crap out there with regard to fto's. Anyone know anywhere?

I'd say rory might be able to rustle you up the bits..

failing that I'd try RiceRocket..

it'll be rory doing the job alright but i was curious about the cost of them etc. Is it worth rebuilding the gearbox or just doing the conversion!

I haven't seen a kit for sale for ages..just had a look through eBay there and didn't find any..

could be worth asking camskill as well - they don't have the "packages" on their site - but they'd probably be able to give you a quote.

There's often conversion sets coming up on ftooc, but I'd imagine Rory would be able to supply most if not all of the bits needed.

Whether you do that or rebuild the tip box I guess is down to personal preference, but my thinking would be that it wouldn't be a huge step to go from a tip box rebuild to a manual conversion. Especially when you can recoup a few quid selling your old parts.

Its as good a chance as you are going to get to do a manual conversion. Its what I'd be looking at doing if I was in the same boat.

yeah i know, thats why im curious about it. And as Colm pointed out the difference would probably be made up on the value of the car. A GPvR with a tip is stupid... even to me... E-mailed RiceRocket and Japco but both parties only FIT the kits. No luck there. Didnt get a reply from Camskill. And with a holiday coming up (all to soon) i would want to start getting my act together!
