rev counter

Postby ftomad » Sat Mar 08, 2008 2:46 pm

Hi guys
I was driving along last night and my rev counter was dropping to zero when i was cruising along in 4th, i drive a 5 speed auto
Would this be just a case of loose connections? or bigger problems

would this be due to the fact my haft shaft is goosed?
Should i stop driving because im afraid it will cause problems later down the line?

If the shaft is bent you are going to damage the box if you keep driving it. You are putting strain on bearings and oil seals. Get it done ASAP
