She should engage at a certain point i dunno wat that point is in a GPX but it should be somewhere over 5 k revs, maybe 5,500 but im sure the lads on here know exactly

when mivec engages, exhaust note should change, ie. get louder
ya should feel more pull in the car, and a very quick climb from engagement to the redline

it should be noticeable, once the car is warmed up

Never mind that magnatec sh!te, Duckhams 15w40 mineral oil has always been recommended to me! i'll make some enquiries and get back to ya, somethings wrong though

The correct oil for an FTO is 10W40, I use Castrol magnatec and never had a problem with it. Whoever recommended 15W40 to you is wrong.
You'll know mivec when it kicks in, as Mitsubishi-Mental said its 5,500rpm, you hear the engine note getting louder, a lot louder so its not as if you have to strain to listen for it.

closest i'd no of would be Icetronix in Saggart, now im not familiar with Dublin too well, but i'm sure they'll take a look even though they're Honda specialists

Otherwise ya have TDP out near Maynooth, other than that i dunno mate

Whats the temp gauge like? is she overheating at all?
