Hey lads.. I was at the last mini meet with my rather sorry looking gpx. Had a good bit of bodywork and paint done over the last few weeks so I said I'd put up a few pics :smt002 It's only recently gotten it's nct and I've still a few plans for her, most importantly getting rid of those yokes I refuse to call wheels! and i'm going to get the alternator out of it tomorrow and have it reconditioned, not at all looking forward to this!

Nice one - I don't actually mind those wheels, they don't look too bad at all. The things that you absolutely need to get sorted to complete a real upgraded look are :

- get it down off those stilts (get lowering springs asap)
- sort out some clear repeaters and red tint spray / film to rid yourself of the 90's orange look lighting
- exhaust would be next. I'm actually surprised that the stock exhaust is still surviving.

Really I can't stand wolfrace :smt002 ..Yes it definitely needs lowering and I was already planning on the light film, where's the best place to buy it?
I bought that exhaust the get the car through it's nct, I had to cut off a hks super dragger exhaust which was a bit worse for wear and rediculously loud, I was thinking of getting a new pipe welded to the box and adding a silencer to it and refitting it.

I got the work done by a local guy in clare, john browne. Petty pleased with it, the front bumper could still do with a small bit of work but it'll be grand for another while

Got the alternator out yesterday, it's being reconditioned should have it back tonight. Is there anything to watch out for since it controls the mivec too or is it the same as any other alternator? Mitsubishi definitely have an evil sense of humour when it comes to locating ancillaries!
