Well no - agreed..

But look at it this way..

If you wanted an FTO that looked like that with all the same mods.. and a reworked engine, I think the Clutch is relatively new as well..

(New as in when Dave had it)..

You'd spend money getting the car
Money getting all the parts
Money getting it all fitted
Money getting it all painted

If you didn't know anybody who could help you, and you didn't have the confidence to do much of the work yourself... I don't think you'd end up that far off 12k..

What's a half decent 96gpx these days - standard trim... 5 - 6k? You could pick one up cheaper I'm sure but you'd just need to pump more money into it..

Is that the only photo of it? I know a guy from another forum bought that car and obviously with a view to selling it on again!! I sold that car nearly 18 months ago for a little higher than that!

anto vtec (member here too) bought it a few months ago but didnt keep it too long... he never keeps anythin long! :wink:

another lad from tipp or somewhere bougth it! and it must be him thats selling it again! i saw it a few wks ago and it is MINT! not a mark on it!

Mm seriously gona look into gettin that.thanks uncle.is it a gpvr spoiler? Ive got a gpx,will the spoiler mounting holes line up and will i have a hole left in middle of boot,if there is 1 on mine,i cant remember

I think its a Veilside spoiler but as always, i could well be wrong! I have it on my one too. (I think) :lol:

Its either a DC or Top Mix rear spoiler - either are quite close in look to each other. Steelroe is selling a Top Mix spoiler at the moment.
