Automatic lever: Park or neutral?

Hi, anyone tried setting the gear to neutral instead of park for parking?
will this maximise AT gear Box? Thanks

I doubt it affects anything to do with the life of the gearbox, plus if your hand brake failed your car could roll, as park is also a brake.
