2008 Mitsi EVO X

Suprised no body on our "Other Cars" forum has mentioned this beauty from Mitsubishi already... amazing... 300 BHP, and I am sure a ~400 BHP one will follow.... I reckon this is the best looking performance saloon ever.

Yes it's nice - quite nice even..but somehow it doesn't quite agree with me.

I realise that by making this car as a saloon - they're hitting a very special marketing segment (Parents/Pratical people that still want to be able to drive like they're in a car chase) - I I just can't help thinking that It'd look nicer as coupe & with a lower roofline.

I'd still be chuffed to bits to drive one though - don't get me wrong.

Lovely looking concept car.

But as with all manufacturers the production version is a rather much toned down version of the concept you have pictured above. Much more standard looking front (no LEDs) and rear lights, less clean lines, less dramatic front bumper, fuel cap, brakes, wheels and offset, suspension height, different rear diffuser and larger side mirrors

Having said that its now miles ahead of the looks of the new Scooby.

Yeah I've never liked Evos before but this one is gorgeous. Even the production version is nice, if a little subdued compared to the concept.

I might be way off the mark here but I thought the reason is was a four door instead of a coupe was for WRC eligibility. Don't know where I got that idea though. ;)

AFAIK - its not a particular requirement under WRC rules to use a 4 door saloon. otherwise Citroen and Ford would be in the sh1te!

isn't the new Impreza a hatchback?

EDIT: I see there's a saloon too.
