Come on Shane you can't come out with a statement like that and not finish it off
What you gettin'
Nothing special - Just another boring golf - it's the seats that do it for me
I found a nice blue 2000 5 door with leather heated recaro's. This time it's got the tech pack as well - cruise control (important with our new speed limits
), trip computer and 18" RS4 alloys (which I love). Also has 2 years NCT and has had the timing belt done (which is good)
I had Paul (Nolan) give the car the once over last night and he said it was sound - although it needs a small bit of money spent - new key required, scuff on rear bumper needs to be repaired and the window tints need to be removed.
Anyway that is all pending a look at a TT which Adrian put me onto -
FYI..................
This time around I was suprised at some of the rubbish people are selling, especially dealers (who shall remain nameless). I looked at quite a variety of cars including TT's, Golf's, an FTO (on the quiet), Volvo C70, lotus elise (at deerpark motors) and an S3. A lot of the TT's I looked at were private sales and ABSOLUTELY MAD MONEY. Most of the Golf's were trashed or vastly over priced. The FTO was knackered. And the Elise had the usual Elise problems of leaking roof and rattling interior (great car for summer but no way you could live with it). The volvo's were great though but just a bit boring....... so all in all there's a lot of rubbish out there these days.
