Replacing the bulbs in the A/C display

Postby karlf » Tue Feb 17, 2009 11:07 am

How do you get the display unit out? The bulb on the right side of the display stops working occasionally, just want to check for a loose connection. Is there a guide to take this out? I did a search but cant find anything

Thats exactly what I was looking for. Cheers TopCat. I'll have a go at that myself, might even buy the bulbs from FTOOC and do it in blue to match my dials. Can the screen be changed to blue as well or is it just the lights in the controls?

The set from FTOOC includes bulbs for the screen too.
I'm not sure if its the case with these bulbs, but you tend to getting 'spotting' in the screen area with some replacement colour bulbs.

Its the KMC alright. White dials with blue markings for the mph. The screen that displays the milage is blue as well, so to complete the look it would be nice to have the whole dash blue. The lights in the mirror are also blue. Bit of a theme going.
