holding onto revs

been out tonight great fun but its not good round town bit hit and miss with the clutch when pulling off and holds onto the revsat the same time great on the go any help pls

Sounds like your clutch is on the way out.

Is the issue worse when the engine is cold or is it the same regardless?

its the same all the time even when i rev it up seems to hold on abit like its the isv but carnt find it or maybe the maf sensor

it happens when driving round town at 2k and it backs off then there again as if its going to kangaroo but dont

could be a sticky valve in throtlebody (sp?).


id start by applying wd40 to acc cable on the outside of same.
if it makes no difference check tb for gunk and other nasty things around the butterfly seal.

Does it do this when the car is in neutral?

cable ok and free its ok when in neutral its manual if that helps
