Postby macspratt » Wed Oct 26, 2005 8:05 pm

Anyone bought one of these?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1
Just wondering if it will sound a bit OTT sound wise,, looking at putting on the decat as well, but if it were to be to loud sticking with the orig cat,but thats defeating the object im thinking.
any ideas on the subject,,onother option im thinking about is the mongoose twin pipes, reading alot of good reports on here at the moment on them.

Aidan passion red gr.
p.s got the ITG last week CJ, and went with the 3" alu tubing intake from the bumper and up the side of the box, along withe the alu heat shield,i used a downpipe shoe to direct the flow on both ends ,everything seems ok,,thanx for the info!!!!!

We've had this topic before as far as I can remember.
On the face of it - it looks like a good exhaust - T304 stainless - very freeflowing - no reasonators or baffles (apart from v small back box) to speak of. And it looks like it will be quite loud.

I'd personaly prefer to buy a known brand of exhaust especially when the seller is calling them "lifelong" - a take on the better known "longlife" exhaust brand.

If you get it for under 200GBP then it might be worth a shot - I'd be interested myself to see how it performs - however I'd rather spend the 350-400GBP on an exhaust from Camskill or Ricerocket.

BTW - A decat pipe will probably give you the single best performance gain on your exhaust - well worth getting a good one - on this subject the same "lifelong" sellers decat pipes look to have very narrow and mild steel flanges - I suspect the flanges on the stainless exhaust are mild steel as well - may be worth asking the question.
